PERSONALITY PROFILE: KOFI W. NUAKO Senior Kofi Wiredu Nuako is a member of the 76/78 class. ZeePascal, as he was called, recollects his time on campus with fondness. As Butler House prefect, he was the self-appointed house football team captain much to his housemates’ chagrin. To this day, he regards Mr. Goodfellow and the late Mr. Gyamerah, Butler housemaster and assistant housemaster respectively as mentors. ZeePascal proceeded to the University of Ghana Medical School where he graduated as overall best student in 1985. He won a scholarship to Harvard for postgraduate studies. After internal medicine residency at Good Samaritan, he proceeded to the Mayo Clinic for fellowship in gastroenterology. Senior Zee is very passionate about Prempeh College. At the 2016 ANA fundraising dinner, ZeePascal donated $7,600 (symbolizing the class of 76) to ANAPEF! Last year Senior Zee topped it up to $10,000. It was for completeness’ sake, he quipped. Dr. Nuako is a strong supporter of ANA and ANAPEF and a firm believer in restructuring education to empower young enquiring minds. His 2 older kids who are both in medical school can attest to this. Zee is a board certified gastroenterologist and lives with his family in Tennessee. He enjoys traveling and playing tennis when he is not bogged down by work. We are proud to recognize Dr. Nuako’s contribution. Ayekoo ZeePascal!

The ANA board is happy to announce the institution of the ANA Lifetime Achievement Award for Amanfoo who have been worthy Prempeh College ambassadors and have contributed significantly to our alma mater, Ghana and the world at large throughout their careers.
